1 May 2020 - Thai Lion Air is ready to return all 38 Thai people from Kathmandu, Nepal. Today, Thai Lion Air operates Boeing 737-900ER Charter flight SL 2220 depart from Don Mueang International Airport To Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal to pick up Thai passengers left in Nepal. Consisting of 11 tourists, 17 Monks and Novices, 1 Nun, 3 Buddhist volunteers, 1 Thai chefs, 1 Thai resident in Nepal, 1 Volunteer and 3 staff of Thai Airways Company which all Thai people are happy to return to Thailand. All passengers have medical test and medical certification which the result of no disease and fit to fly. Including with a letter from the Royal Thai Embassy in Kathmandu and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which cooperated all the passengers back to Thailand In total of 38 passengers returned on flight SL 2221 from Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal to Don Mueang International Airport follow the schedule to arrive to Thailand at 7:45 pm
For airline safety measures has requested the cooperation of all passengers wearing a mask throughout the flight. In addition, all seats are provided for passengers onboard in accordance with the Social Distancing measures. All crew members wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), N95 Mask, Face Shield, glasses, helmets and gloves. All the equipment testing procedures are good quality and processes. However, all passengers must do a state quarantine for 14 days as per the requirements immediately. Thai Lion Air would like to thank you all departments for their kind cooperation.
