14 May 2020 - Thai Lion Air rescued all 197 Thai people from Dhaka, Bangladesh back to Thailand and ready to sent 59 Bangladesh people back to their country. Today, Thai Lion Air operated with Boeing 737-900ER, Repatriation flight SL 2224 departure from Don Mueang International Airport to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Bangladesh to rescue Thai passengers left in Bangladesh. All passengers have medical test and medical certification which the result of no disease and fit to fly. Including with a letter from the Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which cooperated all the passengers back to Thailand on flight SL 2225 from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to Don Mueang International Airport follow the schedule to arrive to Thailand at 14.30 (local time). For airline safety measures has requested the cooperation of all passengers wearing a mask throughout the flight. All crew members wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), N95 Mask, Face Shield, glasses, helmets and gloves. All the equipment testing procedures are good quality and processes.
However, all passengers must do a state quarantine for 14 days as per the requirements immediately. Thai Lion Air would like to thank you all departments for their kind cooperation.
