Bangkok, 7 October 2021 – Thai Lion Air joins in supporting Airbus to deliver 21,000 Antigen Test Kits (ATK) to Thailand to support the fight against COVID-19.
Due to Thai Lion Air has received a new A330-900 aircraft from Airbus in Toulouse, France. And according to the wishes of Airbus executives, Mr. Anand Stanley, Airbus President Asia-Pacific, to donate Antigen Test Kits to Thailand with the hope that his contribution can help with ongoing procedures. Thailand has done well in managing the pandemic since the outset, and his hope that the current situation in Thailand will improve soon.
Thai Lion Air is very pleased to support Airbus to transport the Antigen Test Kit (ATK) on this new aircraft.
Airbus Head of Country in Thailand, Pierre Andre, presented the test kits to the Minister of Public Health, H.E. Anutin Charnvirakul, during a ceremony held on Wednesday, 6 October at the ministry’s premises.
Also in attendance was Ambassador of France to Thailand, H.E. Mr. Thierry Mathou; Economic Counsellor, Mr. Hubert Colaris; as well as Chairman of the Board of Thai Lion Air, Capt. Darsito Hendroseputro; and Chief Executive Officer of Thai Lion Air, Aswin Yangkirativorn.
